I have a 360, which is too bad because I've heard The Show is definitely the best in the business, and I've heard mixed opinions on the 2k series, but I guess thats my only option. The fantasy league/video game suggestions are something I will definitely look into, I have experienced their teaching ability firsthand with hockey and football. Nice to see yet another pro sports subreddit with a community that puts r/nba to shame. Thanks.ĮDIT: Wow, was expecting some good feedback but not to this magnitude. Any guidance you guys could give me would be great, links, books, or just your own pointers. I'm talking the difference between pitches, how to play in different situations, the big names, the CBA, and maybe most importantly stats (I understand stats are used to analyze baseball more than any other pro sport). I understand the basics (positions, outs, scoring, things like that) but not the deeper things that really help you understand the game.
I'll watch baseball here and there, maybe a few games every year, but this summer I at least want to try watching more of it.
